SmartVax is installed software at YDMC – the aim is monitor early if an unexpected numbers reaction start occurring with a particular vaccine – so, if you get a vaccination at this practice expect an SMS from the practice to check you are Ok about 3 to 5 days after the vaccination – if you had a reaction please report it, if it was a significant reaction reaction then please complete a brief survey – HOWEVER IF you have a moderate reaction, please contact us in usual way as the app does not mean you will be contacted – ask for the Registered Nurse during business hours for advice – the Practice will be learning how to use this programme to help provide care for you and the Community
