COVID-19 Screening Clinics
MPHN has been working with the Department of Health to establish GP respiratory clinics across the Murrumbidgee region to ease pressure placed on hospitals.
Currently YDMC refers patients to Laverty Pathology for CLOVID-19 Screening ring to book in 62821212
It is recommend EVERYONE stays home from school , work, socializing if ANY symptoms of a cold and consider COVID testing before returning – the results will hopefully be rapidly available the next day
The Boorowa Street Practice also is available for patients showing signs of a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose and other respiratory symptoms to be screened free of charge. You do not require a referral for testing or require to be or become a patient of The Boorowa Street Practice – the Clinic will be open for testing restricted hours Monday to Wednesday -To prevent contamination and risk to our vulnerable patients this clinic will be run from the rear of the existing practice – there will be onsite Covid-19 testing, an SMS test message with negative results will be sent to your mobile phone. A telephone call by the Clinic will be made for positive cases with instructions on further management.

The clinic will be located at the rear of the existing practice. All entry is via the rear entrance. There will be NO onsite parking so we suggest parking in Calabash Street, a short walk to the clinic’s rear entrance.
